Observe.
Build. Capture.

An experiment in connecting PHUZE’s three interests through a camera, a shared world, and a change of perspective.

01 / The idea

A way to move between interests.

The entrance lets you rotate a camera and look into the Observe room through its viewfinder. Moving through the lens leads to three rooms: market observation, a working assembly, and selected photographs.

The camera makes the act of looking part of the project. The avatar provides continuity as the surroundings change. Aperture transitions carry the photographic theme between rooms.

02 / What’s here

A working experiment.

This build includes camera rotation, keyboard controls, a rigged avatar, procedural animation, a nine-blade aperture, and eight photographs. It uses Three.js and React.

The camera is a custom approximation inspired by the Sony α7R VI, rather than an official product model. The scene charts are illustrative. The crypto map is an external reference credited to 0xReflection.

03 / Take control

Explore at your own pace.

  • Drag the camera, or focus it and use arrow keys. Home resets its orientation.
  • Choose Enter viewfinder, then use Observe, Build, and Capture to move directly between rooms.
  • Pause ambient motion at any point. Reduced-motion preferences suppress automatic motion and animated travel.
  • Open photographs using the numbered frame buttons. Escape closes the viewer.

The 3D scene requires WebGL. If it is unavailable, the page keeps text and links to the work.

04 / Current limits

The work also lives outside the scene.

This remains an interface experiment. A long camera journey can be slower than a direct link, especially on a phone, and the 3D model adds loading and rendering cost.

The portfolio is the default entrance. The full photography selection and Market Event Atlas are available without navigating the rooms.
